A Romantic Wedding in Selinsgrove, PA
Michala and Joseph Reeder || May 2nd, 2026
A day intentionally curated to who Michala and Joseph are together. Their day included faith, family, friends, and fun together.
Michala left so many little notes to Joe during his getting ready and made early in the day so intentionally curated for him. Setting up a mini-golf course as a surprise in the groom suite (because they did not have time to go golfing the morning of). The golf balls used were customized with their wedding date, his watch had a little love note on the back, and ensured there were enough snacks, lunch, and beverages to hold the men until the reception.
Michala got ready with her bridesmaids in the bridal suite, relaxing, enjoying time together, and casually getting hair and makeup done as the tradition goes. What I loved about this time was how many first looks she had, as a way to honor her favorite people on the wedding day.
As a unity symbol the two tied the cord of three strings together the day before the ceremony, then when it came time, the pastor spoke, and the two placed their vows and favorite wine in a box to read and enjoy as a first anniversary activity.
The reception was just as intentional, dances with parents as usual, a relaxed atmosphere with board games, dancing, an amazing wedding painter, and the absolute best kind of ice cream to exist... Penn State Creamery.
Our team not only covered photography for this even, but we also covered video.
